Two types of carbon steel pipes

The carbon steel pipe is made of perforated steel ingot or solid round steel and then hot rolled, cold rolled or cold drawn. Carbon steel is an iron-carbon alloy having a carbon content of 0.0218% to 2.11. % zinc steel coil manufacturers. Also known as carbon steel. Black carbon steel pipes generally also contain small amounts of silicon, manganese, sulfur and phosphorus. Generally, the higher the carbon content of carbon steel, the higher the hardness and the higher the strength.

There are two types of carbon steel pipes: hot rolled and cold rolled (pulled).

Hot-rolled carbon steel pipes are divided into ordinary steel pipes, medium and low pressure boiler steel pipes, high pressure boiler steel pipes, alloy steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, petroleum cracking pipes, geological steel pipes and the like.

Cold-rolled (dial) carbon steel pipes are divided into ordinary steel pipes, medium and low-pressure boiler steel pipes, high-pressure boiler steel pipes, alloy steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, petroleum cracking pipes, other steel pipes, and carbon steel thin-walled steel pipes, alloy thin-walled steel pipes and thin steel pipes. . Wall steel pipe, profiled steel pipe. The outer diameter of hot-rolled seamless pipe is generally larger than 32mm, the wall thickness is 2.5-75mm, the outer diameter of cold-rolled seamless steel pipe can reach 6mm, the wall thickness can reach 0.25mm, the diameter of outer diameter thin-walled pipe can be 5mm, and the wall thickness is less than 0.25. Mm. Cold rolling has a higher dimensional accuracy than hot rolling.

Ordinary carbon steel pipe: made of low-alloy structural steel such as 16Mn, 5MnV, such as 10, 20, 30, 35, 45, etc., or alloy steel such as 40Cr, 30CrMnSi, 45Mn2, 40MnB. , hot or cold rolling. Seamless tubes made of mild steel such as 10 and 20 are primarily used for fluid delivery tubes. Medium carbon steel seamless pipes such as 45, 40Cr are used to make mechanical parts, such as the force components of automobiles and tractors. Typically, carbon steel pipes are required to ensure strength and fracture testing. The hot rolled steel pipe is conveyed in a hot rolled state or a heat treated state. Cold rolling is carried out in a heat treated state.
